2001

I have been blessed to have this web site and I am thankful to my trusted friend and web master Joel Skidmore.

I sincerely believe that the year 2001 will usher in the new millennium. The new millennium will spell good things. At first many of the nuances may seem difficult to understand but in the end all will work out just fine.

For years I have been fighting for so many issues. The Buffalo Soldiers, the Muwekma Ohlone and Native Americans in general, the Veterans who shed their blood for our country, the Presidio of San Francisco, simple women, children, and men who daily stand up to make this world a better place.

The world situation is better then it was some years ago. The political situation world wide affects us. The United States has done all in its power to spread peace in Bosnia, the Middle East, all over Africa, South East Asia, South America, we have tried our best and done well.

The political situation at home could not be better. All of us especially those who never vote suddenly realized the power of voting. We have a population of over 270 million and only about 40 per cent voted. We have a tie in the Senate, 50 Democratic Senators and 50 Republican Senators.

Who will be the next President? The answer is who ever he is, he will have to represent the wishes of the people and be for all the people!

I am always grateful to my family and all my friends who have supported me. Too many to mention and from so many fields, both here in the United States and all over the world.

I was born in Nairobi, Kenya and never thought that one day I would have to deal with so many issues on every level. I participate on every level here in San Francisco, on the State level, the National level, and also on the International level. My supporting projects in Kenya and Sudan right now take a lot of my time.

It is just a matter of time before the Muwekma Ohlone get their Federal Recognition. Judge Urbina has ordered both the Department of Interior and the National Park Service to cooperate and they have. The adjudication process has taken years but patience has played rich dividends. Please visit the Muwekma Ohlone site and check out things for yourselves http://www.muwekma.org

Africa is a continent with over 54 countries. When you have the time please visit http://www.CAfrica.org We have some neat links that give a lot of current information.

Most current issues I am fighting for are posted on the site, my favorite http://www.ojo.com/francisco This site will continue to grow and has a lot of supporters who visit it. Thank you.

The Presidio of San Francisco continues to be a political hot bed. We continue to monitor the Trust and the National Park Service. The ardent steps we have taken to inform all have paid rich dividends judging from the e-mails and telephone calls we get.

The year 2001 is round the corner. The year 2000 has been good to us. We look forward to the new millennium. We look forward to progress. We look to a world where respect and dignity are valued. Where there is much love and compassion.

To all those who have supported me I say to each and everyone of you - Thank You.
